Dharma talk given by Tova Green at the Sacramento Buddhist Meditation Group.
Tova Green was lay-ordained by San Francisco Zen Center Senior Dharma Teacher Linda Ruth Cutts and later priest ordained by Linda in 2003. Tova has lived at Tassajara where she served as Ino (head of the meditation hall) and was Head Student, has lived at Green Gulch Farm and now lives at City Center where she is a Practice Leader. She has been a social activist for her whole life, and has served on the SFZC Board, the Diversity Committee and other committees through the years. She plays the cello and has been very active in the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. She was a hospice volunteer at the Zen Hospice Project, then worked for them, and now works for the Hospice by the Bay as a social worker. She started the group Queer Dharma at SFZC in 2009. Tova has traveled widely, is a photographer and writes poetry.
